The Witcher 3 Remastered Euphoria Build – Skills, Mutations and Leveling Order
The full Euphoria build after the Remaster: every skill, slot, mutation and piece of gear, plus a 54-point leveling order you can open in the calculator.
Euphoria is one of the strongest builds in The Witcher 3, and it still is after the Remaster. You fight mostly in melee, and your damage grows with Toxicity that you keep high all the time. Below is the whole build: skills, slots, mutations, gear and the leveling order point by point.
Euphoria: Toxicity build
Mutation: Euphoria · Skill points needed: 79
How the build works
The Euphoria mutation increases weapon damage and Sign intensity for every point of Toxicity. The whole build serves one goal: have as much Toxicity as possible, survive with it and turn it into damage.
- Combat provides fast-attack damage and adrenaline gain.
- Alchemy raises maximum Toxicity, turns it into critical damage and keeps it under control.
- General adds light armor bonuses and even more Toxicity.
You fight mostly with fast attacks and occasionally strong ones. For Signs, Quen and Yrden are enough when you need them. Your potions are mainly Superior Thunderbolt (attack power) and Superior White Raffard's Decoction (healing).
Slotted skills
The 12 active skill slots:
- Combat: Muscle Memory, Three Strikes, Crippling Strike, Whirl, Razor Focus and Resolve.
- Alchemy: High Tolerance, Side Effects and Fast Metabolism.
- General: Cat School Techniques, Metabolic Boost and Metabolic Control.
Three mutation slots (Euphoria is green, so they only accept Alchemy):
Stepping-stone points
Some skills are taken only to unlock the next ones:
- Undying and Fleet Footed (1 point each) open the way to Whirl and Crippling Strike,
- Arrow Deflection (1 point) unlocks Resolve,
- Hunter Instinct (1 point) unlocks Acquired Tolerance,
- Tissue Transmutation (1 point) unlocks High Tolerance and Delayed Recovery,
- Viper School Techniques (1 point) unlocks Metabolic Control and Metabolic Boost.
This way every point works: in a slot, through the tree's passive bonus, or as an unlock.
Mutations
Before Euphoria you need Toxic Blood. Those two mutations alone cost 5 points. To get three mutation slots, though, you need eight researched mutations in total, and the cheapest way costs 25 points (details in our mutations guide). The whole build, mutations included, costs 79 skill points.
Gear
- Manticore Witcher Gear (light), for its Toxicity bonuses. Alternatively Grandmaster Feline Gear.
- Nilfgaardian Guardsman's Gauntlets.
- Toussaint Knight's Steel Sword.
- Aerondight as your silver sword.
Leveling order
We suggest four stages. Sword damage comes first so the build is playable from the start, then Toxicity and its control, and finally the Combat extras.
- Points 1–12: Muscle Memory, Cat School Techniques, Three Strikes and Razor Focus, each to rank III.
- Points 13–29: the start of Alchemy, meaning Frenzy, Endure Pain, Hunter Instinct and Acquired Tolerance, then Viper School Techniques, Metabolic Control and Metabolic Boost.
- Points 30–42: the Toxicity core, meaning Tissue Transmutation, High Tolerance, Delayed Recovery, Fast Metabolism and Side Effects.
- Points 43–54: Undying, Fleet Footed, Whirl and Crippling Strike, and finally Arrow Deflection and Resolve.
Research the mutations once you reach them in Blood and Wine. The full order, point by point:

FAQ
How many points does the full Euphoria build need?
79: 54 for skills and 25 for the eight mutations that unlock three mutation slots.
Does Euphoria accept Combat skills in its mutation slots?
No. In the Remaster, Euphoria is an Alchemy mutation, so only Alchemy skills go into its extra slots.
How do I play Euphoria?
Keep your Toxicity high, mainly with Superior Thunderbolt and Superior White Raffard's Decoction, and fight with fast attacks. For Signs, Quen and Yrden are enough.
